>> back to London

Start of the new year, and I was well determined not to get the January blues, not for one second. London can be exciting and interesting at any time of year.
So after the partying season, my plan for January was to take up on the vast culture/entertainment offer and get myself out there to see some nice things. So far, so good.
To start with, something I had neglected doing in the past months, and that I grabbed by the skin of my teeth (the last days were totally sold out!): the brilliant V&A exhibition The Golden Age of Couture.

I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition (despite the crowds of fellow last-minute visitors). The introduction to the world of the Paris and London couturiers was very detailed, and the final display of cocktail and evening gowns absolutely amazing. Once more, the V&A delivers excellent curation through yet another insight of their spectacular fashion and costume archives.
