Yes we have them – preview pictures, and the date! The H&M collection featuring Marimekko classic prints will be on sale on April, 10th.

I love some of the pieces, but I have to say I’m not impressed by some others. The prints are of course wonderful, but it looks like more could have been done on the volumes and shapes, which don’t look too flattering (the preview press pictures are not great, either…).

As for the colour stories, the black and white one is surely going to be my favourite (my old love for monochrome!), and the fuchsia/orange one goes fantastically with the main colours for this season – but the bottle green/burnt orange one looks dark and lacks twist.

Guess we’ll have to wait and see what the colours look like on the textile, and how the volumes work once worn. Just four weeks to go!

    like the idea/concept of using colours.. especially if you live in a part of the world were sunlight only appears 6 months a year :)
